Emily works with children who are currently not in school and are home educated.
She explores emotional regulation through role play, creative writing, music, costumes, props, and imaginative play with children and adults who have a diagnosis of a learning disability, autism, and/or additional complex needs.
Emily creates a bespoke, tailored session plan for her clients, reinforcing all of the specific requirements and needs discussed in advance with parents, carers, guardians, healthcare, social, and academic professionals involved in the individual’s EHCP.
Emily offers ongoing weekly sessions that eventually concludes with a presentation of the work created - a short film, photography project, performance, art work or a simple conversation encouraging reflection and evaluation.

Emily & Sophie provide creative projects in various communities for children and adults living with LD/ASC.
They like to focus on themes such as:
. Relationships
. Intimacy
. Consent
. Siblings
. Ambitions
. Independent Skills
. Life Experiences
They communicate these topics through dance, drama, music, photography and various storytelling mediums which allow participants to share their thoughts and feelings based around these subjects. They enable artists to have complete autonomy over the stories they wish to tell.
They work with a range of creative professionals, who assist them in delivering personalised projects for friends and family to enjoy.
“Emily directed a creative workshop for our service user’s 60th anniversary and it was the most successful, rewarding, enjoyable experience we have ever had. We produced a photo shoot that captured each individual perfectly, and everyone had so much fun!”

“Emily has an affinity with children and her ease with them was very clear to see as she makes the children feel that she is one of them when immersed in a game or activity, but equally being the adult in the room when needed as well.”
